Yes it’s that time again and while some people love to see the temps dip and the fall colors along the St Croix River Valley start to pop, others of us who just can’t get enough of the warm weather. Well this weekend bring a happy tone to Prescott, WI with it’s annual Prescott Daze event. This year is even more fired up as we are honoring our volunteer fire department for 150 years of service.

If your here for a Friday night stay you can enjoy the street dance with live music by Orange Whip . On Saturday amongst all the other events, there is a Firemen’s Dance at the fire hall featuring live music by Mid-Life Crisis.

This just in: We have had a last minute cancellation in our most popular room (Silhouette). This is perfect for mending you boogey muscles after the big dance. Our Silhouette Room features a king sized bed, two person shower and best of all an awesome PRIVATE outdoor hot tub for two.

Even though our fall colors have not shown their beautiful sides yet, Prescott Daze is a great way to bring in the new season.

Wow, already a year has passed for us in our “romantic” bed and breakfast.
I added the word “romantic“, since we are still in love with our B&B and the romance continues to grow.

We fall more in love with our inn every day as we continue to pick and choose new improvement projects. We added new triple pane windows to improve the comfort and quietness of our already peaceful little culdesac. We removed the overgrown vines above the Silhouette Room’s patio so our guests truly have a view of the stars from their private hot tub. We remodeled the bathrooms in our Silhouette and Garden Room. Beautiful new tile now surrounds the inviting extra deep jacuzzi tub in the Garden Room and the Silhouette room boasts a new tile floor. We have listened to our guests suggestions and enhanced one of our grapevine covered porches by adding hammocks. Additionally, we have dug a cozy firepit in the side yard with comfortable seating all around.

How could we have a romantic bed and breakfast if we had no romance? Well I am happy to say that even after working together every day for the past year we continue to fall more and more in love with each other as well. When we have an occasional night with no guests, we enhance our romance by going over to our own inn and soaking in one of the romantic oversized jacuzzi tubs or the outdoor hot tub. We are very excited to cozy up in front of the fireplace in the Longworth Room this winter with a nice botttle of wine. We continue to be inspired every day when couples pass through our doors and we can feel the love. Whether it’s a romantic getaway to celebrate a 57th wedding anniversary or kindling a brand new romance, it’s awesome to witness romance at it’s best on a daily basis.

We love our guests!!! In just one year we have had more guests through our doors than combined over the previous 12 years. We contribute much of this success to our guests and their reviews and recommendations. Some couples we have only seen once so far but we continue to get updates about them from their friends and family members who they have recommended to us. Other guests have been here numerous times and we have enjoyed getting to know them more every time. Some so many times that we have considered naming rooms after them. (We love it!)

Call it romance or call it love….. whatever you want to call a relaxing, quiet, cozy, warm, private, love filled getaway…..that is what we will continue to create for you at the Arbor Inn .
